Alpari applies a commission only on the Pro ECN account type. This commission is the same for both Pro ECN MT4 and MT5 accounts, but there's a small difference in how it's charged. For Pro ECN MT4, the full commission for opening and closing a trade is applied when the trade is opened. On Pro ECN MT5, half the commission is applied when you open the trade, and the other half when you close it.

Commission in USD is calculated using the formula:
Commission = (Contract Size × Exchange Rate of Base Currency to USD / 1,000,000) × 25 USD × 2.

- Trading Instrument (currency pair) — EURUSD.
- Trade Volume — 1 lot.
- Contract Size — 100,000 EUR.
- EURUSD Exchange Rate at Position Opening — 1.33470.
Calculation:
Commission = (100,000 × 1.33470 / 1,000,000) × 25 USD × 2 = 6.67 USD.
ECN MT5 Commission Calculation Formula = (Opening Price x Lots (Volume) x Contract Size) x 25/1,000,000 + (Closing Price x Lots (Volume) x Contract Size) x 25 /1,000,000

Attention!
- For Pro ECN MT4 accounts, the commission is charged at double the rate at the time of opening a trade — simultaneously for opening and closing a position.
- For Pro ECN MT5 accounts, the commission is deducted from the trading account balance and is charged separately when opening and closing a position.
- The value of 25 USD is calculated based on the nominal value of the position, which is 1,000,000 USD. For CFDs on cryptocurrencies, a similar commission is 0.05% of the transaction volume in the base currency.
- If your account currency is EUR, the commission amount will be converted to USD according to the current exchange rates in the MetaTrader platform.
- The commission for the SPX500 instrument is 25 USD, based on the nominal value of the position, which is 100,000 USD.
